These terms cover your use of tokenhomepage.com, its API and the token-sync command-line tool (together, "the service"), run by The Token Homepage ("we"). By signing in or uploading usage you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service. Our privacy page explains what data we collect and how to delete it.
The service
The Token Homepage is a free, just-for-fun leaderboard of AI token usage. Rankings are based on token counts reported by token-sync from your own local logs. They are not verified with Anthropic, OpenAI or anyone else, and they say nothing about cost, skill or productivity.
Tiles marked as demo on the map are fictional placeholders, not real people.
Your account
- Sign in with your own GitHub account, and keep your devices and credentials secure. You're responsible for uploads made from devices you authorize.
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- One person, one account. Don't create accounts to inflate, split or game rankings.
Uploading usage
- Only upload usage from your own Claude Code and Codex sessions, using token-sync or a client that sends the same honest data.
- Don't fabricate, alter, replay or inflate token counts, or upload someone else's usage.
- Make sure uploading your usage doesn't break any agreement you have with your employer or AI provider. If your logs belong to an organization, get its permission first.
Display names and profiles
Listing yourself publicly is optional. If you do, your display name must not impersonate another person or organization, mislead people about who you are, infringe anyone's rights, or be hateful, harassing, sexual or otherwise offensive. We may rename, unlist or remove any profile or usage that breaks these terms or looks fraudulent, with or without notice.
Acceptable use
Don't attack, overload or probe the service; get around its rate limits or security; access other people's accounts or data; or scrape the public API faster than its published limits allow. The public leaderboard API is free to read within those limits.
Ending your use
You can stop at any time and delete your account from your account page, which erases your data as described on the privacy page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we may change, pause or shut down the service. If we shut it down, we'll delete the data we hold.
No warranty
The service and token-sync are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy of counts or rankings, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. token-sync only reads your local logs, but you run it at your own discretion.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or reputation, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for all claims is limited to US$50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Not affiliated
The Token Homepage is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Anthropic, OpenAI, GitHub, or the Million Dollar Homepage. Claude, Claude Code, Codex and GitHub are trademarks of their respective owners.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and for significant changes we'll give notice on the site before they apply. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
